Now you see it....Now you don't

Life has been a bit hectic around the Glasmann house the last few days. The kitchen remodel is imminent! The outside room, which used to be called "the dog's room", has been named "the brown room" and is set up as the temporary kitchen. It seems like every time I have turned around for the last few days my dad has been removing or demolishing something. He seems to be enjoying the demolishing....just not the pack/clean up. Everyone has put in time in helping to clean things out and move things to their new temporary homes. Should be fun washing things in the bathtub for the next month or so. It's been an exhausting project but it's nice to have our part done and look forward to the changes that are coming. It's interesting to see it all open and to imagine the walls ripped out and the ceiling vaulted. I'm sure there are more pictures to come as this event is pretty major around our house. Here are some of the temporary kitchen (before it was fully set up) and of the kitchen when my dad was ripping out cabnits and the likes.

WOW, those cabinets look pretty good out there! I'm impressed. Nice job, and I'm sure Mom and Dad appreciate your presence as this all goes down - you do some darn good work. Have fun back east! Love you!
