My mom came home from the hospital on Thursday afternoon. She is doing great and harassing me about torturing her when I put her through the physical therapy exercises. If she thinks I'm bad she will have a new perspective after she meets with the real physical therapist on Monday. So the relief society sisters wanted to bring meals for my mom and last night a very cute family who my mom works with the wife in young women's brought us some delicious beef. I'm not sure how she cooked it but boy was it good. The kids all know my mom from presidency meetings and stuff for young women's and the five year old boy was very concerned and wanted his mom to tell him what had happened to my mom. So she told him. The kids all brought my mom little cards and drawings they had made when they came out with the meal. It was way cute. The five year old boy's drawing is amazing! You just have to see it for yourself. His mom told him that the doctor had to cut my mom's knee off and put in a new one so she wouldn't hurt anymore. Here is what the little kid thought.

The doctor is the one holding the saw and the blue thing next to the saw is my mom's leg. Seriously is this not the cutest picture. It's just so funny...and shockingly not too far off from the truth:)
Well the beautiful weather has left Oregon and now it's unseasonably cold and we could have hail and possibly snow tonight. All the cherry tree's are in bloom....sadness. It will really kill Oregon's and hurt farmers if it freezes tonight. It's been a rough year for Oregon's farmers & fishermen.

That's hilarious! You guys should totally frame that!
Thst picture is just awesome.
Booo on the freeze. I hope you (and the farmers and fisherman of OR) escape the snow.
LOL!!!! That is AWESOME. I love how the saw is 10x the size of her knee. Seriously - that is one cool pic! I bet the doc is going to bust a gut over it.
That picture is soooo cute and sad at the same time. LOL That boy is awesome.
Wish I could come out and say hi, but I'm stuck on this side of town for awhile. lol
Get better, Peggy!
The picture is great. Hope your Mom will recover fast. I'll cross my fingers that the weather will work with you guys.
Congrats on your acceptance!!! I'm still sad that you're not moving to KY, I know how you really wanted to. :-)
